Children’s Minister Introduction

  • The Ministry Today

Cana Church is a Southern Baptist Church, has a traditional history, and has made great strides in the previous few years to modernize our ministry while holding a biblical faith. The current children’s minister is an 18 year veteran of Cana. During her tenure, children’s ministry has become more pronounced, influential, and effective. Out of a regular attendance of 250 people, 30-35% are children. Most children are preschool aged.

Cana is looking for the right person to disciple children, love their parents, and contribute to the goal of fostering adult followers of Christ. We envision a future ministry that provides strong and sequential childhood theological education as an integrated whole with the overall education of the church. The successful minister will be concerned with a spiritually effective ministry to children and their families.
