L.I.F.E. Adult Ministries

Living Intentionally For Eternity.

Webster defines Life as the quality that makes living organisms different from dead organisms. This definition also describes our spiritual life. We have been given life through our relationship with Christ and without that LIFE we are dead spiritually. Therefore there is a difference in the life of a Christian and the life of a Non-Christian.   Jesus said in John 10:10 ... I came that they may have LIFE, and have it abundantly. That abundant LIFE, walking with and growing in Christ is what we seek and what our Lord wants for us.

LIFE Connection (Sunday School)

From 9:15 am to 10:30 am we have 12 Life Connection groups for adults of all ages, and from 10:45 am to 12:00 noon we also have 9 groups. Through these groups you can connect with other believers to the body of Christ trough small group Bible Study. You will be able to build relationships and encourage one another through Biblically base study as well as fellowships and socials outside of class.

LIFE Groups

The focus of our LIFE Groups is on discipleship. There are several different Bible studies and classes going on throughout the year some examples are book of the Bible studies, parenting, marriage enrichment, prayer, Beth Moore studies, sign language classes, and many other topics to enrich your spiritual walk. Most of these classes meet on Wednesday nights 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm, some on Sunday evening 4:45-6:00 and there is a women's Bible study on Thursday mornings 10:00-12:00 with child care available.

Spring LIFE Group schedule:

Senior Adults
We have several senior adult Sunday school classes comprised mainly, but not exclusively, of married couples; and we have an excellent ladies class (age 60 and up).   These classes have interesting Bible study and great fellowship, and they minister very effectively to each other's needs.

Our Young at Heart   fellowship group (ages 55 and up) has a covered dish dinner and Bible study on the first Thursday night of each month at 6:30 at the church.   In addition, there are about ten major events throughout the year.   Examples include Game nights, visits to local theaters and trips to Branson and other exotic locales.

Single Adults

Single adults can find a home at Cana.   At 10:45 our College Age Singles (18-24) class meets in room 215 for Sunday school while our Career Singles (25-35) class meets in room 231.   Both groups enjoy Bible study and fellowship activities such as volleyball and Christian concerts.   The Open Bible (45 plus) class has been strong for years and features excellent topical Bible study and relationship-building fellowships.

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Council is very active in planning retreats, banquets, missions activities, and other events.  LIFE groups especially for ladies meet on Wednesday nights at 6:45 and Thursday morning at 10:00.   We have three Sunday school classes just for ladies.   At 9:15 Single ladies meet in room 212.   At 10:45 "Women of Worth" (18-59) meets in Room 116 while "Faithful Workers" (60 and up) is meeting next door in Room 115.
